What to Expect!

Starting something new can be a bit nerve-wracking, especially when you're looking for some clarity on the details. To help you get a better sense of the weekly vibe at RCOG, we've put together answers to some of the most common questions we receive. Let's dive in together!

Where Do We Get Together?

We'd love for you to join us at 357 Old Traphill Road in Ronda! It's a great place for friends to gather, share laughs, and enjoy each other's company. We can't wait to see you there!

The Essence of Our Services:

We love to keep things simple yet meaningful in our services. Our messages are filled with Scripture and revolve around the gospel. Music and prayer bring us together and create a warm atmosphere at every gathering,

Dress Code:

At RCOG, we strive to foster an inclusive atmosphere. Our sole guideline for attire is that it should be respectful and appropriate for worship.

Music:

Our musical expressions encompass a wide range, from modern tunes to cherished classic hymns. The essence of our worship music lies not in the genre, but in the heartfelt devotion we bring to our praise and worship.

Our Beliefs

Church of God- Declaration of Faith

  1. The Church of God believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. The Church of God has adopted the following Declaration of Faith as its standard and official expression of its doctrine.
  2. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible
  3. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
  4. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
  5. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
  6. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
  7. In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
  8. Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
  9. In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
  10. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Ghost.
  11. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
  12. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
  13. In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
  14. In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
  15. In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
